Sophie and Nicolas welcome you to their one hectare property, ideally located between the Mediterranean sea and the Cévennes mountains, amond the vineyards. The cottages “A l’ombre d’un olivier” are located in the quiet village of Montaud, under the sun and the blue sky of southern France.

You can take advantage of the deckchairs at the swimming pool, with a view of the Montlaur castle, play “pétanque”, read “In the shade of an olive tree” or simply do nothing, listening to the song of cicadas. For the more active, from les gîtes “A l’ombre d ‘un oliver””, the surroundings are very pleasant for walks or bike rides. Whether you like the sea, the mountains, the rivers or the garrigue, the departments of Hérault and Gard offer us magnificent sites: Sommières, Pic St Loup, Les Matelles, les gorges de l’ Hérault, Montpellier , Nîmes, Sète, St Guilhem the desert, the Salagou lake, Uzès, the circus of navacelles, the Buèges valley, la grande Motte, Palavas, Carnon, Aigues mortes, Grau du roi and many more!

The region is viticultural and wine lovers can taste the different wines of the south of France. The property consists of 6 independent cottages for 2 to 5 people, practical and comfortable. You will immediately feel like at home, thanks to a neat  and design decoration. Each cottage has a private enclosed garden with terrace, barbecue or plancha, garden furniture, television, internet. The 11X6 meter swimming pool is shared and has a deckchair per person and large solarium. Swimming pool opens from may to october. The parking is in the property, it is collective with 1 reserved place for each cottage.

For sport lovers, nearby, you will find: tennis, canoeing, horse riding, climbing, river swimming, biking, electric scooters, golf, karting, gliding, ULM, paragliding.
